About the event

Screens are a part of everyday life, but how do they impact children’s brains, behavior, and relationships as they grow? In this Parent Café, families will explore what research tells us about screen time and developing brains, from toddlers to pre-teens. Together, we will look at how screen use can influence attention, language, emotional regulation, and family connection. Through guided conversation and shared reflection, participants will recognize the powerful role of everyday interactions and routines, and how small changes can support healthy development.

Parents will leave with practical, realistic ideas they can use right away, whether at home, in the car, or out in the community, to create more balance and strengthen connection with their children.


By the end of the Café, parents will:
